Where is the best place to come through the firewall with the power cables for the amps?
Thanks,

What year is your truck? If it is a 97-03, there's a grommet, on the drivers side pretty high up. It isn't being used by anything, just pop it out, cut a slit in it push the wire through. It doesn't get much easier on any other vehicle.

It's a 2000. I saw that grommet. I was hoping something was on the battery side.
Thanks,
Craig

The good:
On the drivers side there is a grommet on
the floor panel.

The bad:
Under that grommet is part of floor support, so the ground wire has to go into the support hole and then up to the grommet. It looks like the largest you can get through is 4 guage.

But if you do that, make sure you use some type rubber grommet or wireing loom to protect the wire from rubber. It's hard to exlpain, but once you get under and look it will make sense.
