Ok i Have a single din clarion indash dvd player,But my 2004 f150 is double din,Does anyone know if they make a single din monitor that folds in to single din slot? (Just monitor only) i can put my dvd player in the bottom din and the top would be the motorized monitor?

 

Tough order...Most single dins have the monitors built in along with the other radio "stuff". Having a single din motorized screen alone is...maybe too unique.

Not exactly sure what your asking but here's what I did. Took the factory hu out and placed a 7" TFT monitor in the hole. Put the Stereo HU where your cig lighter is and my DVD player is the PS2. If i do decide to put a regular DVD player in it will go where the ashtray is since it never gets used any way's. I will try to get some pics up soon. Haven't upgraded the gallery in a while.

If your trying to fit 2 decks in the one hole, i think your going to tun into trouble with clearances between the 2 and the whole, but I could be wrong.

 

Yes there are several single din monitors that will fit. Just need to google or look on ebay for the type of monitor you want. Costs will vary with size and quality. Another place to go is the stereo shop, they will tell you what you need, then go purchase it yourself somewhere else to save $$.

Hopefully your dvd single din has am/fm and cd functions.
If it doesnt all you will be able to use it for is DVD playing.

I have the all in one Pioneer Avic N1 which is a single Din unit with screen, navigation, cd, amfm etc. I have pics in my gallery.
