EQ install

Hi-- I have a Alpine 7894 HU and a Alpine 3331 eq. The eq has 1 set of inputs in the back. The install diagram calls for right and left low level output from the HU to go in these holes. The problem is on the back of the HU there is front ,rear and sub outputs. Is there any way to hook this up. Thanks for any help in advance,

It shouldn't really matter wether you use front or rear, just not the sub. You just have to use the EQ fader.

On that particular Alpine HU make sure that you have the sub x-over turned off. Look at your manual to get instructions on how to do this. The reason for that is because when the sub out x-over is active it will set the front and rear outputs to high pass and will not allow you to get good bass response. Other than that you should have no problems and the that particular EQ should be a great match up.
