CB Radio install

Does anyone have any ideas on where to mount a CB (Cobra 29-LTD) inside a 2003 F-150. I want it to be easily reached and to look nice. Thanks

I need some help on this subject also. Maybe we can buy after market consoles. post a picture if you have a CB in your 97-03 truck.

CB Install

I hope somebody with an idea posts something soon! I have seen the consols, typically the CB lays flat and there is a speaker on the front of the console. I thought about this, but I have a 4X4 with the stick on the floor which doesn't leave room for the console, which is made to straddle the whole raised portion. I'm just trying to find an easy way to mount and wire the thing without having to rip the dash apart. Help!

I mounted mine below and to the right of the steering wheel (about where your right knee would touch the dash if you slide the seat forward enough. I have the Uniden Grant (full size radio) and I don't have any problems with having it mounted there. People sometimes think I'll hit it with my knee, but it's been in there for about 1 1/2 years with no problems.
