I was wondering if there were any of these in the Louisiana area? Specifically Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Hammond, Lafayette?
It doenst matter if its SPL or SQ.
Is there a site with info on it that may list a schedule of the comps?

I wouldn't mind attending one. I did go to a local "Crank it up" competition, but that was back in the early 90's.

 

Take a look at the IASCA site. I am sure you should be able to find some competitions that are not too far from you. I know they have some in Alabama usually and there was supposed to be an event in New Orleans (naw'lins) for Mardi Gras but it was cancelled for some reason. Anyway keep an eye on the website events section www.iasca.com. They have not yet posted the smaller events yet but you will probably see them in another month or so. You can also look at the USAC, MECA and SLAP sites for event schedules.

 

How far is Clare from you? There is a USAC SPL show there this weekend. You just missed one last week in Gonzalez. Wasn't sure if you saw it.

I missed the one in Gonzales. Only about 45 min away.

I will need to look on a map to see where Clare is. Im not quite sure off the top of my head.

How did you learn about that one? I went to the ISACA site and nothing in LA for the rest of this year, but that doenst mean there wont be other small shows in the state. I went to the termpro site also, but didnt find nothing.

I would have loved to make the one in the Lamar dixon arena in Gonzales. Cant believe I just missed it!!!
