Laptop Audio Out -> F150 audio system

I have an 02 F-150 Supercrew with the stock Ford single CD player. I am working on a mobile computing project and want to send the audio out from a laptop into the fords sound system.

I am an audio n00b. Is there an easy way to accomplish this already or will I need some fancy cabling and modifications? Thanks for your assistance.

Go to Target, walmart etc.. pick up a cd player cassette adapter for 20.00 and plug it into your headphone jack on your laptop.

I have a compaq ipaq and use it to play my mp3's it works great!

(this will only work if you have a tape deck head unit if you have a cd player only, I don't know how you can do it.)

Good Luck

As stated in the post I only have a single cd player head unit. I'm looking for something that can post into the cd-changer adapter or some kind of line-in option for on my cd player.

I think I found something that may work perfectly:

You can use a small portable fm modulator. About 20 bucks runs on a single aaa battery and plays through a specified fm channel. Your other option is to see if your head unit has an rca line in. If it does you can get a mini plug to rca and use that plugged into the headphone jack

Check the net for the "iRock" FM modulator. It runs on AAA battery's or a 12v power supply (cig. lighter adapter). It has 4 choices of station tuning and can be had for about $25.
Just plug it into your 1/8 inch stereo out (headphone) on your computer and tune in your stereo and your there!
Here's one now....

I've used FM modulators with my PDA for my car sound system before but I wasn't impressed at the performance and quality. The above link I posted has an actual adapter which will allow me to plug RCA audio input into my sound system. That will work MUCH better Now if only I could find it cheaper...
