dynomat

would u guys recommend having an installer put in dynomat while they instal the 3 way components or doing it myself.

And should i wait to do it after i get my subs?

Also where are the places that u recommend putting sound deadener?

Do it yourself and install the comps yourself. Also dont use dynamat, find something cheaper!

how thick should the sound deadener be that i buy. BTW ur right dynomat is ay to expensive compared to what i hav found i just mentioned that in the questoin because that is the only brand i had heard u guys talk about on the forums tht i have read.

Can't really say a given thickness, but usually the thicker the better; however material does come into play too.

I used stromguard in my truck. It was $50 for 200 square feet and am more than happy with the results especially for what I paid. Sure, there is better out there but you will pay for it, but really if has done more than I thought it ever would and for the price its hard to beat.

Doing the doors will help reduce some road noise and will give you an increase in midbass (depending on how you do it); however doing the floors with greatly help out too!

From the testing done if I rember correctly SecondSkin came out to be one of the better sound deadeners out there and its cheaper than most to. (by test I mean labatory test done by a third party...many deadeners were tested too (RAMMAT, Dynamat, eDead, Stomrguard, and some others).
