Help!!

hey, I got to hook up a line out converter and I need to know what wire is positive and what one is negative. These are the wires that go into the front speakers. There is a orange one with a green stripe, and a green one with a orange stripe.

Also, the guy at Radio Shack said to hook the line out converter up to the front speakers. Do I really need to do that, or can I conect it to the back speakers?

I dont know much about the converters but my freind has one in his civic and you have to fade the signal to the rear to make the sub louder well that takes away from his fronts which takes alot away from his infinity kappas. Like i siad i dont know the specs of using them because the rest of the people i know use rca's but i would think it would be ok to do it from the front.

Try this:
1999 Ford F Series
Constant 12V+ Light Green/Pink
Switched 12V+ Black/Purple
Ground Black
Illumination Light Blue/Red
Dimmer n/a
Amplifier Remote Blue
Antenna Right Front
Front Speakers 6" x 8" Doors
Left Front (+) Light Blue/White
Left Front (-) Orange/Light Green
Right Front (+) Dark Green
Right Front (-) White/Light Green
Rear Speakers 6" x 8" Rear Door
Left Rear (+) Tan/Yellow
Left Rear (-) Gray/Light Blue
Right Rear (+) Brown/Pink
Right Rear (-) Orange/Red

The colors can be different, even for the same model year, so use at your own risk. Good Luck!

Ok, thanks, that was what I needed.

If I accidentially put a positive to a negative and a negitive to a positive will I blow something?

Also, is it better to put the l.o.c. on the front or back speakers?

i would like a answer as soon as posible because it is really nice out today and i have nothing to do. Thanks
