SkyFi???

Anyone use the SkyFi XM systems. I want XM, but I would like to use it in places other than just my truck (without paying for more than one service contract). I'de like to take it in the Windstar and when I get the boat, on there. Aside from the size and the fact that it is a seperate unit (not part of the head unit) this system seems like the way to go. I found the FM modulator for it and would probably put that in both vehicles to eliminate the cable mess.

I currently have the stock AM/FM/Tape in a 99 F150, but plan on replacing the HU with a CD/MP3 capable unit. I considered getting XM ready, but that limits my flexability.

Does anyone have any experience with this, and do you have any pictures of where you mounted it?

Thanks,

Nick

I suggest you go to XMFan.com. You will get much better feedback there. For whatever reason, F-150 owners are not into XM radio. You will get very little feedback on this site. I have tried in the past.

I've had the Skyfi in my 01 Supercrew for almost a year and I love it. I also have a mount/cradle in my Sea Ray for listening on the lake. The great thing about XM is that you can go ANY place and get perfect reception. I agree with the other message, check out the www.XMFan.com site for lots of info. Let me know if you wish me to e-mail you a few pictures.

Plenty of F150 owners are into XM.

Try reading these for starters, yoyo...

B-man...like I said very few posts. Nothing very current here all superfulious fluff. The other lame part is the search engine here. Won't allow you to search XM (not enough letters). Lame just like you!

Cool

Well, yoyobung-hole :

When you get out of 1st grade, learn to use a dictionary or a thesaurus.

First off, "superfulious" is not even a word. Your lame attempt at sounding educated only revealed you for the moron you are.

I think the word you were trying to use is superfluous. But, alas, that would not even help you because it means to exceed what is needed or necessary.

So, do everyone here a favor and take your lame troll-a$$ to a different site.

By the way, if you had half a brain, you would realize that you can search on "satellite" and see lots of postings regarding XM. Of course, the two letters comprising XM are probably the limit of your mental capacity, so I fully understand why you didn't think to search on satellite.
