I know this sounds stupid and simple, but can someone help me out with the Hz setting on an amp and deck. I have a RF 301m amp that has 50-250 HZ filter and my deck is selectable for 50, 80, or 125 HZ. The amp only goes to my sub and the decks amp is powering my front and back 5x8. Any help is greatly appreciated.

 

Personally, I control my hz setting going to the sub with my head unit, therefore feeding only that frequency to the amp and keep the switch on the amp to "full" or "bypass" the internal crossover......... I use 50 hz for most (Floyd etc) but use 80 hz for my oldies stuff.........

Controlling it from the head unit allows you to change it without accessing the amp.........
