Console for additional equipment

In some of the galleries (and I don't remember where now) I have seen consoles that have been installed on the floor up against the dash that are being used to hold various types of equipment (stereos, subwoofers, etc.) I was trying to find out where you get these or if you have to have them custom made. Anybody know or have one of these?

Yes, something like that. In fact now that I see it I think this is one of the ones I saw. Where did you get yours?

First, trust me on this, the color match is better than what it looks like. Didn't realize how 'off' it looks...

Secondly, that is actually an 8" self-powered subwoofer. It's made by Clarion and was called a 'Camoflauge Sub'. They no longer make them and Crutchfield (where I got mine) no longer sells them...

Your best bet is to watch ebay like a hawk and also check the classifieds frequently. Best of luck...

Actually, the JL Audio Stealthbox that goes in the center console has a downfiring 10". I have one in my '01 Scab and it's for sale as I'm about to take delivery of an '04. I've been very happy with it. Check the classifieds here, if you're interested. Ad # is 17790.

Hazard269 or Clem, do either of you have pictures of what the JL Audio Stealthbox looks like installed?
