I have a car LCD monitor and I'm looking at getting a new receiver. Are there any receivers made that have an output for a monitor to diplay maybe text, clock, a Spectrum Analyzer, stuff like that? I have the monitor why not use it, right?

 

I seriously doubt it... not the functions you're looking for.
Most recievers that offer that kind of function are the ones with built in LCD monitors and DVD players.

I could be wrong.. but I've never come across a reciever with a video output like that.

 

i am gonna have to go with tek and say they only think that would do that would be a flip out tv with a rear video output i know a pioneer flip out that will do that let me know if your intrested

 

There are some out ther but i dont rember where ive run by them you will have to surch the web but they are out there.
