head unit

installin head unit. Just wonderin what anyone out there has encountered problem wise so i can be prepared to get it done with out to much conflict. I already have the install DIN thing to make it normal size. Will i be needing a new wiring harness?

It is pretty staight forward. You will need a wire harness it will be much easier and the next guy to do it will appreciate it.

Stay away from circuit city when buying a wiring harness. They make these things called quick connects and they are crap to say the least. I payed like 30 bucks for a set and my truck wouldn't crank with them hooked up. Get the harness that you have to crimp the wires together from like best buy. You will think yourself for getting a wiring harness. It is much easier that splicing the factory harness.
