need a little help

what's up people. i just got a '95 F-150 and I'm trying to put in a new stereo. the seller didn't give me the tool to remove the factory radio. does anyone know where to get the tool or another way to get the stereo out? thanks for the help.

To my knowledge a radio removal/installation tool doesn't necessarily go with the truck. If the previous owner never removed the radio, then he may have never had one. They are plentiful, though. A friend of mine used some stiff wire bent into the u-shape. I got mine with my head unit. Shouldn't be too hard to find. I've even seen them on ebay for about $5.

Get in the truck and head to your local wal mart. They sale the tool for like $5.00 and it is made by Scoshe. You can also use a coat hanger, but I wouldn't recommend that.

Or if you are closer to someplace like autozone, stop there!

I got a 2 pair last year from them. less than $5.00 for the both of them!!

But just about any national franchise parts store should have them. Just don't go to NAPA, they want like $12.00 for the things.
