Hey Xole, Why does it say it fits 99-03 f series trucks (inc f 150) but it doesnt say anything about the expedition. I believe they are the same set up so Im gonna quess that it should fit right?

I am not aware of any differences in mounting. It probably would not hurt to call them. 800-336-6500

Good luck.

xole,
Have you installed this in your truck ?? If so, how does it fit and did you have to trim under the dash ? Are you going to put a Double Din headunit or two singles ? Please let me know, I want to put a Double Din in my Supercrew, but am worried that it will not fit. Does this install take care of all the problems ?

My plan was to do two single DIN in the space, one for radio and one for a in-dash video screen.

etronics, where I ordered the dash kit and video screen was supposed to have the video monitor in stock. After the order appeared "stuck" in their system I called them and found out they really did not have the stock. I got mad and cancelled the order.

Since I was frustrated I dropped the double DIN plan and am going a little different on the video side. I cannot wait to install this weekend.

I ended up picking up a Metra kit locally. I was very impressed with the Metra cable adapter(s). They actually had an adapter to convert the ford harness directly to my new Alpine with no soldering or splicing.

So, is it safe for me think that the Double Din will install with no problem, as long as I get the kit from above ?

Good luck with you install.

On my 2001 I did expect to have to break out the dremel and cut some plastic out inside the dash. From the side it looks like this:
