Stero question

Just bought a used 97 f150 s/c 4x4 off road (but new to me and very proud of it too) The question I have is this: I have the factory tape but I see that on the system it says cd and disc slect and shuffel but no cd slot. Is this a deal were I need to find a stock remote cd or what? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Jeff

Your HU has hook-ups for a factory CD changer. You sometimes can find them in the F150Online classifieds and Ebay. New ones can be found at www.radiosandmore.com , but they are a little pricey.

BTW, welcome to the forums!

F150 dad-

If you want, I'll send you a factory changer that should work with your head unit. It came out of my '98. Maybe jefflaws, sscully, RockPick, etc. can shed some light on the connectivity, cause I'm a little foggy as to the harness connectors, etc.

Let me know...
