Angry K&n Intake

NEED SOME HELP! AFTER INSTALLING A K&N AIR INTAKE ON MY NEW TRUCK WITH THE 4.6 MY MILEAGE DROPPED AND THE TORQUE CONVERTER LOCKS UP ON SMALL HILLS. DIDN'T PUT THE BLACK BOX BACK ON AND I HAVE NO NOISE. THE ONLY DIFFERENTS ON MY 500 MILES A WEEK I PUT ON THIS TRUCK IS THIS WEEK I USED THE AIR CONDITIONER. HELP!

Welcome !! If you unhooked the battery per the instructions, your AT will shift creapy for a few days due to the computer reset. A properly installed FIPK will not decrease mileage. Check each step to make sure that the install was proper. Many lose mileage after the install from putting their foot in it, testing it.
