Power antenna

Has anyone installed a power antenna? Have a 2000 F-150 and was just wondering, how hard, costs, etc. Thanks

Pheww! This is a tough one. I don't think they make such a thing for F-150s. Probably not enough space to install it either.

Price for a standard power antenna (motor + antenna) will run you around $200+. (Installation not included of course)

I have asked this in the past and I think it was concluded that the fender is not big enough for a power antenna. If it was, you would figure they would have put one in the Navigator or the Blackwood at least.

Thanks, just thinking as I have to use a shorter antenna due to my garage. Right now using one of the short rubber ones but would like something that looks a little better but can't be as long as a stock antenna. Also don't want to get too carried away like some of the signature antenna. Any ideas? Thanks

Exclamation

You could relocate your antenna.. I'm planning on doing that when the weather gets warmer.
