Thumbs up

Here's mine I couldn't stand the big empty hole in the TB cover any more, so I pulled it off and stored it in the garage. So far it's only wire loom and an intake. I'm going to pick up some "billet and acrylic" pieces from my friends' shop, and leave it at that. ,,,,,98

Question PLUG WIRES

Hey F-150 Ram Air, where did you get your ignition setup? I really like those plug wires. How much were they?

Thanks

Lightbulb Great Looking Engines........

Nice clean engines.......how do you clean a dirty engine? Can you just hose down everything or do you have to cover some things?

How much improvement can I expect with just an K&N filter.. I am not going to do the whole kit because the GF thinks that too much of a Mod for now.. just got done doing the exhaust.

Thanks.

I have the full intake, so I take the filter off and stuff a rolled up rag in the MAF. Then I hose the the entire compartment down with aerosol degreaser, followed by a high pressure wash. Having a pressure washer at your house is good thing to have. I've never covered anything, and no trouble so far.(two to three years)

Go for the full intake, you won't regret it for a second. Get a Superchip after that, and that truck will MOVE!!!,,,,,98

Thanks, I tried to do the best i could

If your talking about the plug wires they are not painted or covered that is how they are made. They are the Accel wires which is the same as in Ram Air's post. It's kind stupid the box shows black wires but I thin kthe only color Accel makes is the blue. If your talkin about all the other wires then that's just wire loom.

I like the paint scheme on your truck. I have only personally seen that top color on one other truck and it was a mono tone paint job. I am kind partail to darker blues but I do like yours also.
