Scanner that can read mode 6 data

Hi all,

I'm looking for an OBDII scanner that can read advanced mode six data.

I recently had to take my truck to Ford because I thought the transmission was slipping but it ended up being an intermittent misfire in three of the cylinders. My code reader could not pull any data off of the computer because the misfires are intermittent and had not yet triggered a check engine light.

So, I am now looking for a scanner that will pull this intermittent data.

What the heck are you replying to?

Relly Donald was likely trying to reply to another post. But the poster is correct, the mode 6 misfire counter is 65,535 because of the 16 bit unsigned integer max value.

Common sense if you do programming...

It's more likely he's a spammer, if you read his other posts.
