E-fans?

Iv heard good things about the troyer kit for the 04-08 5.4. But im not to crazy about the $400 price tag.

Are there any other kits out there that are cheaper and as of good quality?

There is nothing cheap about electric fans ....

There is a swap that you could do from a junker Mark LT because they came with E-Fans stock

X2 on Pockets suggestion. Or go with a flexalite set up from summit. I've dealt with troyer once... SHAME ON ME. First time is a mistake, Second time is a habit! One lesson learned and not going to repete.

I came up with a pretty solid system for about $300, which has worked flawlessly since installed ...

Thanks ...

If I was to do it over again, I'd be looking real close at the fans that come on the newer F-150's. While my fan works great, it is still off a 20 year old car. I'm very happy with the soft start, variable speed controller I used.

I have been using the flexilite for a number of years, but their own FAQ on their web site recommends using a clutch fan for towing, if that is what your doing.
