Source for modifying cab to add door between cab and bed
Source for modifying cab to add door between cab and bed
I am trying to find a high quality source for modifying a 4 Door F150 to add a door between the rear of cab and the bed with a color coordinated cap with operating side windows. I am trying to get the creature comfort/drivetrain of the Excursion but the versatility of the pickup bed since I have 4 dogs and a farm. Ideally I am looking for an aftermarket shop with strong ties to manufacturer to get a new vehicle with turn key mods and full warranty. I am in GA but will travel to get the right vehicle.

Sounds like you want the "Avalanche" mod, and you'd only have to drive as far as your local bow-tie dealer. (J/K!)

Was truck shopping with a buddy yesterday and had a chance to try out the Avalanche door. Very impressed with it. I think that it might become a standard feature on all trucks just like the 3rd door became. (Used $35K)
By the way, he fell in love with a 99 F150 XLT S-Cab Flareside with 28K on it. Have to admit, I liked it too! Someone spent a couple bucks on mods for it. Had (all white) Bug Deflector, Lighted Viser, Rear Window Spoiler, Tailgate Spoiler and Tailight Covers. And it also had an Electronic Roll-up Tonneau Cover. I have never seen one before. Kind of liked it but it used some very valuable real estate in the p/u bed. Same dealer I got mine from and they treated me great. Is $23 and change too much? He really wants it. Thanks,

Yes, it's too much!
23K seems like an awful lot. Try to run it at KBB.com or carpoint.com and see what they say it's worth. I ran mine the other day (see options below) and it was valued at just over 20k.
