Question Helix power tower or power aid spacer?

I'm the proud owner of a 2001 F350 supercrew. V-10,auto,4x4,305 cooper at's. 373 gears. Does anyone have any feed back on the Helix power tower or the Power aid spacer? Is it worth it and what has it done for gas milege? I'm planning on the K & N generation 2 air filter system also.

Most people claim little or no gains with either. I have the helix, received it as a gift, I think it helped a little on the top end and I absolutely love the sucking/whistling noise made when accelerating. However, performance wise there are alot more mods that will give you a better bang for the buck. Just depends on what kind of gains you are looking for.

Thumbs up

I have the Power Aid Spacer on my V-10 and I Saw a .8 to 1 mpg increase on gas milage, no real power increse noticed but gas milage is up which is good because gas is going up up up! And like Scotty's Ford said - the wistling sound is awesome!! I have a Volant Intake so the combo has netted me about 1.5mpg total I did notice a power increase with the intake though, feels peppier. I would definatly do the intake, and it's up to you if you to do the spacer - it only costs $95 so it's not the end of the world. I'm happy with it.*
