Power Up/Down Rear Window

Does anyone know of an electric up/down rear window for F150. I know about the sideways sliders, but I really like the up/down they have on the Explorer Sport Trac.

I'm with you. I almost considered buying a SportTrac just because of that window!! My wife drives a delSol and we have always liked being able to roll down the rear window. I really don't like the small camper windows, not to mention they are a security hazard - very easy to get into. Sure wish someone would design an up/down window for our trucks!!!

The whole rear window would need to be redone as only about one third can retract. I also don't think there is any room designed for the motor within the rear panel. The end pieces have to be fixed as they would interfere with the body, with the center piece retractable. I was hoping Ford would look at this for the '02 models (F Series), but the wait continues. Those with SuperCrew and SuperCab would LOVE that electric window. My wife has an "01 Sport Trac and that window is great. Sure miss it when I drive the 150.

Yah, I guess I really didn't expect there to be an option but was just hoping. It would be peachy.

Take a look in the "Truckin" magazines, in the back market section there is an add for "BREEZER" by Custom Concepts, its a complete roll assebmly, dont know if it will fit our trucks, but its worth a shot

I do not think this would work on an F-150 because the back window sticks out further than the sheetmetal under it. Take a look at your truck and you will see what I mean. The window would have to roll down into a pocket outside of the truck.

Yah, the protrusion of the window beyond the cab in the back is a problem.
