2012 FX4 Truckbox and Bumper

I ordered a 2012 FX4 Crew cab with a 5'6" box. I am looking to place a truck box in the back and was wondering if there are any boxes in particular i should look at? I also would like to install a brush/bumper guard so any info would be appreciated.

We have a large selection on both- truck boxes and guards. We also have plenty of reviews to read too.

The Delta boxes are popular and for the guards, its more of a look thing as they will all function about the same. Are you going to add lights and a winch? Some things to think about...keep us posted with some pics on what you do!

Ive had a Top Gun( I believe they recently went out of business) brush guard that I loved a few years ago. The only problem was that a deer ran into the side of the bumper not the front. Dented the unprotected part of the bumper back. So anyway I sold the brush guard, which was unscratched by various things while it was on, and now I have a Cattleman replacement front bumper. Spent the same amount on the new bumper as I would have getting the stock one fixed. Cattleman is not a very common brand at least not around here but I love it. It took about 3 months to get due to the fact that they had to make one for my truck. My girlfriend and I were able to install it ourselves despite the fact that it weighs nearly 200 lbs. Very simple. Good quality and even better strength. I recently hit another deer while going 85 down a back country road. Other than the blood you could not have told that I had even hit anything. Just my two cents. Hope that helps.

And I know my truck is dirty so sorry if that bothers you. But I actually use my truck to do a trucks work, unlike most people on this site.

Not surprised there was damage, your cattleman guard is a beast!

I am surprised no one has put spikes on the front (I know you Zombie Hunters have thought of it) of their grill guard yet...at least I have not see it yet.

This is un-related to your current post but I'd like to ask your advice about a Bug Shield Installation I purchased from your company. EGR Aero wrap (chrome), I removed nuts & bolts on grille but grille does not remove, I assume its has a factory adhesive to hood. The instructions are vague, does not mention to remove grille but I see it goes under grille. One guy is taking his to dealer-ship to have installed. Any suggestions? Thanks, Mark
