I called procomp because I was interested in the same model, and the rep told me to go with chrome since they clean up so much easier. The only thing with chrome is, they will pit eventually. He did say that the you could bring the finish back on the aluminum wheel by polishing. He never said what to use to do that, but he said that it could be done. Maybe you could give procomp a call and see what they recommend. BTW, do you have any pics of your truck with these wheels? I'm really thinking about buying a set of these for my truck.

my last set were aluminum pro comps. they went dull, of course.

couple of hours with a high grit sand paper and some steel wool and they were back.

was the only thing i could get to work besides deep creep (aerosol sea foam).

I use to have these and it was hard to find a product to bring them back to that like new condition. I found this aluminum deoxidizer at my local polish shop and it worked wonders. I just gave the wheels a simple wipe down with a cloth saturated in this stuff, then hosed them off and dried them. Then I used a powercone and mothers mag and aluminum polish. The end result was amazing. They were so bright that you would of mistaken them for chrome!

I had them on my Tundra and they were a pain to bring back. I spent an afternoon once polishing them by hand with Mother's and they looked pretty good, but don't get any Wesley's Bleechwhite near them...it leave what looks like white water spots on them.
