One thing that really bothered me about the new gas fillers was the ability to put a locking gas cap on. My 2003 F150 XLT truck sits outside both day and night and when gas prices went up I ran out an purchased a locking gas cap to keep my gas in the tank from dissappearing. I have not wanted to buy a new F150 due to the new style gas filler. So I emailed ford about this problem and they told me at there is a locking gas cap for this new style gas filled. I'm suprised the saleman at the Ford dealership didn't know anything about this - - http://accessories.ford.com/locking-fuel-plug.html. With this problem solved I may now consider getting a new F150EC in 2012.
