SPAL PWM V3 Efan Control
Hi Everybody,
Is anyone running the SPAL PWM V3 Controller for a double fan setup?
If so have you had any errors with the OEM plug in temperature sender?
If you did, what set up did you use to bypass the plug and play and how is it working for you?
I can tell my PWM is not getting a straight electrical signal on temp and I need to move to either a SPAL temp sensor which I think is brass. Problem with that is the factory insert into the manifold is on the underside (PIA) and I'm pretty sure the manifold is plastic on my 04 5.4 3V. Correct me if I'm wrong please.
There's another temp sender out there that attaches to the radiator hose just before the water pump. Anyone have any experience with it?
Not really into the probes in the radiator, that's a last resort.
