Leer 800 installation on 2010 F150

I just purchased a Leer 800 and had it installed on a 2010 F150 screw short bed. However, the tonneau sits about 3/4 inch above the rails on all sides. Should the top cover the black rails completely and be flush (nearly seamless) with the sides and tailgate? The dealer didn't seem to think that it would be possible. Is there some type of adjustment that needs to be made? We tried to lower the bumpers, but that only lowered the front half of the cover not the rear. It has the keyless remote entry and I'm not sure if that makes a difference.

Sorry, I'm unable to post an image here.

thanks

On a newer truck it should unless something is wrong with the plastic bed rail covers. I had a fiberglass lid installed on my 04 and the rear plastic shows just a tiny bit at the back. The installer said on the older trucks that the sun can warp the bed rails some & that the plastic tabs underneath can sometimes break causing it to not cover the edges all the way.

You have some adjustment ***** on the inside in the front-- take your time- you should be able to tell which ones are moving the cover up and down. Also the two locking latches at the back can be moved up and down ,that will also affect how the cover sits. You should be able to cover the rails without a problem.

Thanks for the replies. Toolcrib, as your photo depicts, that is the look I hope to achieve. I'll give it a try.
