Custom Train horn setup, PLEASE HELP or give input

Ok..heres the dilemma:

Told my brother I'd get him "semi-style" air horns for christmas, (ya know, the $100 kit type), dual horns with little punk direct drive compressor

So, he does sandblasting art for a living, and has a 97 ford econoline van all blacked out, and has a massive quincy setup, tank is (30 gallon i think) and gas 13 hp honda compressor on top of it. Its permanently mounted in the back of the van.

Now I know it wouldnt work like my little viair i have on my hornblasters setup, because my compressor is electric.

After everytime he uses his compressor for sandblasting, he releases all the air pressure from the tank...

Would this work:

If he just left his tank pressurized all the time, and ran a train horn via air line to beneath the van, and wired a switch to trigger the train horn up on the dash?

ALSO:

what would be the best sounding (like a train) horn he could get in the $100 dollar range???

(I looked on hornblasters, and my black shocker 4-horn kit is like $300 )

thanks in advance guys

I think the setup would work but the little plastic horn will probably blow out their diaphragms not being rated for to much PSI. If you wanted to get the PSI rating of the pump they came with and then dial that in via a regulator from his tank...that would work great.

Train horn sound for $100.00 . IMO its not going to happen . You can try EBAY thought . Isn't it a little early to be buying Christmas gifts?

I wasnt going to put anything plastic, I would get chrome horns....but im pretty sure his big compressor is only 150 max psi
