no. the aux is for something like window up/down, etc. From the sounds of it you have the viper 350hv, which is just a basic 1 way alarm system. Very basic but very solid. Post up if you have any more questions on the viper stuff.

not to be a ***** or anything but you are technically incorrect on this one, the aux output can also be used for a remote start.

The aux output can be wired to a stand alone remote start system such as the DEI Valet 561T, link here:

http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...rt+Module.html

They also make remote start only systems(I think Code alarm has one) that has aux inputs that can be configured to start your car when you press a sequence of buttons (such as lock-unlock-lock).

You still need to buy a bypass module, the PKFM is the latest no key module available from DEI.

I dont believe that those can be used with the Vipers, but I may be wrong. I cant find anything on it now but i coulda swore a directed rep told me once you couldnt. Its also not listed on Viper's website as an available accessory.

since you work for best Buy I would believe you sell the latest units. I went to best buy to get a remote start and they only have a few systems, they don't have the whole line of DEI or anything(they just have the top end stuff).

I think the rep might have said that because he is talking about the stuff Best Buy has or what the "latest" remote start systems are.

I believe the system I posted is relatively simple and made for a guy in his garage to install.

actually you have a good point. I forgot that the viper doesn't have a disarm input. Although this module I posted is made by DEI, it's the python line not the viper.

If I was the OP I would call DEI and ask them is this valet remote start module will work with his viper alarm. The alarm needs to be disarmed before you remote start, so if the python can't disarm the alarm automatically with the disarm output he will have to disarm the alarm first, then remote start.

It can be done but then it's not as "clean"

Yeah, same reason why you cant use your stock keypad on the door to disarm your viper.

Another way that would theoretically work is to use the remote start sense to trigger a relay which sends a pulse to a dismantled remote control telling it to unarm. Only downside is that theres no way to rearm, so that kinda shoots down that theory for this application.

Like hawkz said, give DEI a call.
