I just got a 2010 F150........I want to get the tow mirrors (heated) because I don't like the regular mirrors that came with it. I have headed mirrors with the electric control. Do the Factory tow mirrors plug into the plug I have or do I need an adapter? The dealer service dept doesn't seem to know very much about how to do this !!!!!

I did the swap on my 09 and it couldn't have been easier. They are 100% plug and play, no modifications needed. In addition, with the towing mirrors, you'll get the puddle lamp without any additional work. It's an added touch. Check out my old thread for the instructions on how to swap.
