small issues after e-fan install

So I install my efans and it worked out great. Runs great and they cool the truck very well. But I have 2 codes now. P0580 - no speed detected and a P0400 - cooling fan 1 control circuit malfunction. I have unplugged the batt, reset the codes, returned the edge to stock and nothing get rid of the codes. The fan works and the speedo works (the only thing. I could think the speed code could mean) so I am just gonna drive it and see if they clear themselves. Any ides???

there's your problem. you can't just take something out that is monitored and expect nothing to happen.

i don't know if that circuit can be turned off by tuning or not.

It should be able to be ignored or tuned out with custom tunes.

Did you purchase this kit from Troyers? If so, give them a call. I am sure they can help you out. I love my E fan kit. It's been about 3 weeks now and they work great. The best bonus is how much colder the A/C is
