Ram Air Hood Question - 2004 FX4

Got an '04 FX4 and I REALLY like the ram air hoods.

Currently, the only mod under the hood I have is a Volant CAI and I'm curious what kind of adjustments/modifications need to be done if I was to put on a ram air hood?

Do most people just not utilize the hood for its ram air functionality and put it on for looks? Which I don't mind, cuz they look badass IMO.

Perfect! Those are exactly the ones I was looking at AND they have a layway program! Win and Win!

Thanks a ton!

Those are pretty nice. I have a question though: Do they have spots for the windshield washer nozzles? And if so where do they go? I know this is a strange question but I have LED washer nozzles and wondered if the hood would render the lights useless. I have a 97 so it wouldn't be the same exactly but I was just curious.

Oh wait, it looks like I posted before I looked. I see that the nozzles are on the top of the scoops on my model. Which would make my lights all the more intriguing lol. Thanks for the help I would have gotten guys! I might look into one of these hoods for my truck.

Blackout, Your truck is the reason I am glad mine is black. Got a few things to add, but I'm on my way lol.

suncoast Ram Air hoods are functional. They work with Airaid Cold Air Intakes.
