im not sure where to post this so ill just stick it here, if its not right could someone point me in the right direction


so here is the deal im selling my bronco and buying a 78 f250 with a 460 but the body is shot.
im also buying a 01 f150 std cab not sure on box size, goin to see it tomorow morning but its 2wd auto 260,000 miles no rust but the tailgate is kinda beat up.

so im guna pull the 78 body and cut it up and take it for scrap and then put the 01 body on the old frame with 460 and dana 60s with 4.10 gears.

my question is what are my options for the dash, id like to keep the stock 01 dash all working as far as heat and radio and stuff but the 78 has nothing like that. the spedo wont be the same setup or anything. am i goin to have to make a gauge cluster, im putting a pillar pod in for the engine, and trans temp and then oil press so all i really need is fuel level and speedo and i can get a batt gauge wired up. what are my options? thanks

 

I think you may have to run the '78 guages...
