Good alternative for CB antenna?

Found this for a CB antenna. I dont really like any mounts on the market right now, so this seem like it would be nice. What do you think?

Yea Id like to make a mount, rather than drill a hole, I just would have to figure it all out. But I like the way it looks. Its nice and clean out of the way. I also was thinking about mounting it by the trucks regular antenna and just have the two antennas on the same side.

I would have to figure the bends and where to drill the holes, I havent took a look under the hood where the bracket would be mounted yet so I would have to see what I need to do.

No, anything to do with the bed is going to be bad. I have a cap on it.

you can mount in the bed with a cap. you have 2 options. 1 is to get a side mount bracket and put it right on the cap. the second is to use a mount that mounts in the stake hole and sticks out so that you can still put the cap on. ill find pics/links of what i'm talking about.

edit- heres the body mount http://www.walcottcb.com/firestik-ss...ath=28_353_432
heres the stake hole mount http://www.walcottcb.com/firestik-ss...unt-p-310.html
