seat belt replacement

I recently purchased an '04 fx4 S-cab. One of the 'little' problems it came with was a passenger seat belt that had apparently been cut and then 'repaired'. Looks like someone tried to sew it back together. Bottom line is it is unsafe and I want to replace it.

I called the dealer and they said the part was $312!!! That seems crazy to me, but my/passenger's life is worth that much if its the only way to go.

I found this online and wondered if anyone has experience replacing their front S-cab seat belts with this brand, and if so, did they find any gotcha's or have any tips.

Thanks.

First what part of the seatbelt do you need to replace? I recently wrecked my 06 and the cost to replace the gas fired button portion was $77. Ive some dealers have the parts cheap. When I was pricing parts for truck the whole belt setup was approx $180 to $200 OEM. Some dealers wont give the actually price they sometimes give you the reatil price which is always higher.
