Fuel Cell

Ok guys this is whats up. I want to remove my factory gas tank and replace it with a fuel cell.

Heres where it gets intresting, I have a huge amount of unused space where my spare tire would go. This is where i want to mount the fuel cell. I was thinking 30-40 gallon. It might have to be custom made.

I want better weight transfer. I think this would balance the truck much better.

I would really like to retain the factory filler tube. Any ideas let me know.

obviously a mounting it would be very easy. your filler tube might be harder to run that large of a tube all the way back. i think putting the filler in the bed would be much easier.

you could always move the filler neck back to the back of the bed, but still keep it on the outside of the bedwall.

I think both of yall gave me a great idea. Ill move the fill neck to the bed and cut an access hole to get to it, then just close up the hole, this will deter any gas thiefs when gas prices get up there again.

then i can shave the gas cap off.
