remote starters from kcautosound

remote starters from kcautosound

...if i did install one myself, will the wires need to be spliced and cut, or does everything just plug into a wire harnesses?

No strait plug in. Has to be spliced into existing wiring in the truck.

read your post just want to make sure you do not cut wires on truck strip insulation and wrap and solder wires then tape with a good quallity tape like 3m temflex about a $1 a roll but worth the extra 50 cents. Take your time and ask questions if unsure. Use multi meter and verify all circuits before you tie into them. I can't stress enough to use multi meter unless you have done this before and now how to test and when to use test light you can damage very expensive components with test light. i think i'm going to have a pro do this....truck is brand new....don't want to screw anything up!
