Flex A Lite E-Fan Install ?

Anyone installed one of the Flex A Lite 270 kits on a 2004 F-150 ? Where and which wires did you tap into for the A/C and for the 12 V power ? Pics would be GREAT!

for the ac look at your ac copmressor and there should be 2 wires going to it the gray wire is the one you want

as for power, if its the constant power hook it up to the battery, switched i used a fuse tap and tapped into my fuse box

If you are not using the Daytime Running lights you can tape into the wires you need there. Read more about it this link.

My FAL 270 is still sitting in the garage, shame on me, but I have collected some info and called the people up at Flex-a-lite and asked them the question of "do they run at hwy speed." The answer is yes and no, if you have the AC on they will run at a min. of 60% when the compressor is engaged. The fans will also come on and adjust their speed to what is required to bring your ECT down to the acceptable (adjustable) range. The FAL controller also has connections to turn off the fans for "water crossings" and to bypass the controller and run them full speed. I think during hwy speed the fans will be off most of the time as there will be sufficient air flow to keep your temp low enough to not require the fans. They will come on unnecessarily whenever the AC compressor is engaged. You also have the option of not connecting the AC trigger, but, from what I hear, that would sacrifice another benefit of efans giving you superior AC performance at low speed operation. Hope that helps.
