New Toolbox
I've read this forum quite often and found some good information and enjoyed everyones pictues and input, but never posted before. I found a product I liked so much, I had to post!
I've had my FX4 for almost 2 years now, and have been off and on looking for a toolbox that suited my needs. As most of you know, there is little to no storage room inside the cab, especially with the audiophile sub. I mainly wanted a box for a jack, jumper cables, tow rope, tie-downs etc, but since the bed is so freaking short, I wanted to take up as little space as possible. I also have a "thing" for low profile toolboxes, and insisted on one.
Well, come to find out, that's not necessarily an easy box to find. I cruised most the the websites, and did some calling locally, but nobody had what I wanted. I finally broke down and called UWS to have a custom box built. When I explained what I wanted the salesperson said, "OH! You want..." and proceeded to give me a part number to a box they make, but haven't advertised yet. It's PERFECT! Just what I wanted. You can see the pictures below, but it's a slim-line low profile UWS box. I think it looks awesome and is a great quality product. It's 12" wide (from cab to tail) and 7" deep (2 above the rails, 5 below)

Anywhoo, it looks real nice. I'm a big fan of the low-pro boxes as well, and if it suits your needs perfect, then awesom. Congrats and looks good
