N-Fab Nerf bars

Does anyone have n-fab nerf bars. how sturdy are they. some gut at my shop told me since they mount to the body that they cant hold that much weight. i spoke with the n-fab owner and he said the guy was full of crap. the owner said they distribute the weight throughout the lenght of the cabs boby and mount on the pinch wall and that this is a sturdy and patented design that will hold 445 pounds. i am close to 350 so i want any feedback to those who own these n-fabs or any nerf bars that mount on the holes the stock running boards mount on. thanks...

anybody? Ok can you guys give me your opinion on frame mounted vs body mounted bars, which is stronger? According to the owner of n-fab his product mounts at 3 locations that the stock ford running boards and is sturdier than frame mounted bars and steps... Opinions Please!!!!!!!!!

Ive done alot of research on these and they are rated at like 450lbs. If you think about it, it makes sense if youve ever pulled off stock steps. They are basically held onto the bodn not the frame as well. They mount with a funny C shaped mount in 2 spots to the body, not the frame. And since these use the same mounting holes or ar supposed to and prbly dont use a chincy C mount, I would think they are stronger.

Just my thoughts. I love um but they are $$, but look sweet.

that was my thought as well and think i will get them. i spoke to the owner of n-fab and he said if i needed a little more support it is very easy to drill thru the bottom of the door panel thru a t-bar on the nerf bar and put an extra bolt and that would take care of any worries.
