I have a hi/lo hid kit in my truck. There was a connector that plugged into the right headlight bulb socket and wires ran from there to a control box, then out to two separate ballasts. (the left factory headlight socket was simply sealed off.) There were connectors that ran then from the ballasts to each hid bulb(one for each side) it was pretty much plug in, mount the boxes, install the bulbs and go. Check your instruction sheet to see if you are, in fact, missing a connector. Good luck!
