My last car was a Acura with the Xenon Headlights. I absolutely loved them and could see so much more at night on the road. I love my new truck but feel like I can't see near as well when driving at night. Do they make Xenon lights for the F150? I am looking for the real thing not these crazy BLUE lights that all these kids in import cars use. Does anyone have some or seen any?

 

ya. their called HIDs. i just put a set on my truck last week. there are several other members that have them also. just use the search and you will find tons on them

 

Mmm can you tell a huge difference with them? I don't really care about the luxury car look. I am wanting them just for the fact that you can see a whole lot better at night.

 

its like night and day compared to stock lights. ill never go back to halogen. in fact im about to order some for my moms new car cause she loves them so much.

 

Ok awesome that sounds like exactly what I am wanting. The first night I drove with them I told my wife these are the best lights I have ever had. The visibility is awesome. If you don't mind can you tell me what brand you got for your truck. I looked on Ebay a little but don't know if 1 kit is good for any vehicle or if I need to order specifically for my truck. If it helps I have a 2008 F150 KR. Thanks for the feedback.

 

i bought mine on ebay from a seller called HID4U. the brand of the lights is Xentec. there were $24.99 plus $49.99 shipping. there are several people on here with the same ones they have havent had any problems. as far as getting the right ones, you will just need to specify what bulb type you have when you order them. i believe yours are H13, but im not sure.

 

yeap your KR uses a H13 bulb. and a 9005 bulb if you want xenon fogs as well
