Advantage West package
I stopped by a Ford dealer today and looked at a super crew with the AW package, what a rip off. It costs over $6,500 for:
billet grille - $150
bed liner - $200
power slider - $500
exhaust - $300
wheels and tires - $1500 (tops)
pin stripe - $4,000????
total - $6,650
The wheels didn't even look good. Salesperson said they weren't selling enough of them so they will start selling them for original price, basically free mods. I don't see how they sold any for that price.

You must have visited Berge Ford! I swear that is ALL I could find when looking for my truck. The funny thing is I see those 'Advantage West' Screws driving around the valley. Too much money I guess. They have some great! Roush Screws at Earnhardt on Ray.
that is where I went. when I was looking for my truck I saw one at Earnhardt, when I saw the price I started laughing. Berge must have bought a butt-load of them.

HOSRACN & ELKTAGAZ,
Careful if you get svc. at Earnhardt, thats the dealer that left the bolts hanging out half an inch on my power steering pump, and the cap on the radiator support when they closed the hood. They also left the bolts loose on my A/C compressor when they changed the timing cover gasket, which caused the belt to squeal later on......just check their work if you get anything done there!

I won't get service there because friends of mine that have usually have more problems when they leave than when they went in, and the mechanics say something has to be fixed right away when it is perfectly fine.
I usually take it to Berge because it is right near my house and I haven't ever had problems with them, find out what's wrong, have them fix it if it is under warranty, and if not they tell me what is wrong and I fix it myself.
I know somebody that started doing work at a dealership and he quit because other mechanics would mess stuff up on the cars he was working on(when he went on breaks) so when the people brought the car back, they would ask for a different mechanic, who somehow would know exactly what was wrong.

That's just wrong, sheez. My belt squealed the next morning after they worked on it,I took it back in,and they put a belt and tensioner on it. It would begin squealing every 6000 miles unless a new belt was put on after that "repair". I finally found out what was wrong, after 6 months or so. They left the a/c bolts loose, causing the belt to be misaligned......not a peep since,,,,98

I will be checking everything now when I get my truck back from service. I live closer to Berge also so maybe will have to use them.
