Aftermarket steering wheel
I moved to Alabama a few weeks ago but only recently found out that the yearly inspection is not required (or so I was told, but have no seen any cars with the sticker on the windshield). Any way, I was wondering if and what kind of trouble (with the law enforcement officers) I would run into if I swapped the OEM steering wheel with an aftermarket one, let's say MOMO. Anyone KNOWS anything about this?

Federal laws, or I'm sure your insurance company would definetly frown on the idea of removing a drivers side airbag.
I do know for a fact that someone on the board did it to a Harley edition Super Crew
and I told him the same thing I will advise you of. I am a Crime Scene Technician, I do investigations of serious injury and or FATAL accidents. I seriously advise you, screw the looks of the factory wheel, your life saving air bag resides in there. LOVE IT and TREAT IT BETTER THEN YOU TREAT YOUR OWN MOTHER, IT WILL SAVE YOUR LIFE IN A FRONTAL IMPACT. No One Else on this planet can make that claim. BTW Momo's are for Wusses.

Talk to pyromaniackid. I believe he changed his steering wheel. I used to live in AL but I'm not sure what they'll say about you changing it. There are no yearly inspections there.
