6 KC lights

I plan on getting a headache rack for my truck and the light bar and putting 6 KC 150watt daylighters on the bar. i have 2 on my bullbar now and I see how that is wired up, is there anything special i need to do to get power to all 6 lights and do I need to add anything to be able to power 6 more lights, like with the battery or a larger alternator? Im not very good with electrical stuff obviously, thanks.

for that many lights i would run a second battery. that many lights will be a big draw on your regular battery

i was running 4 100w and 3 55w procomp lights and i had an optima yellow top and they ran great. you could see the voltmeter dip for a second when they were turned on but i never had any problems. and this was with a jeep 4.0L stock alternator

I don't think you'll need to get a 2nd battery, but you may have to switch to a better one- perhaps a deep cycle.
