3rd brake light

3rd brake light

i purchased a tinted LED 3rd brake light for my 2003 f150 extended cab w/sunroof. i pulled the clips out of the headliner but i can not get to the
plug.
can anyone help me.

not sure but can you just remove from the out side unscrew lens then body

no
the harness must be attached under the headliner.
trying to avoid taking the headliner down

I would cut and splice before I would remove headliner

thanks for your help.
i went in through the rear sliding window. unplug the connector, then installed the new light

sorry no picture, it does look like the photo above.
the one i have is from bully and the cargo lights have a blueish tint and are rectangles.
