Light Bar/CB Mount
I looking for a light bar that attatches to the roof of an F150. My friend still drives his '79 F150 with a light bar BUT, he has the old style rain/water channel or lip that the light bar is attached to.
I want to stay away from a roll bar/light bar mounted in the bed, takes up too much space.
Anyone seen anything after market?
Thanks, BYGBRI

I have yet to see a light bar for a 97 + F150 that attaches to the roof or the water channel.

Actually Mudder you have.
Remember eph1fifty 's truck?
Company called SPORT RACK is/was is going to be making a Light bar that attackes to the roof. IT IS REALLY SWEET!
Steve has on his truck, I have one also just not currently installed. Holds up to 5 lights. I'm trying to decide on round or square KC's or what exactly I'm going to install. Check out http://www.cooltrucks.net for more. I'll post up a picture when I get a chance also

Sorry, never took the time to learn how to post pics. This is a picture of my roof rack, with a description of the rack model and manufacturer.
Eph1fifty never responded to several emails I'd sent him. I don't know if he ever marketed his idea. I used KC's, he had Hella's. The Hellas fit in the channel of the Mondial rack, but the KC's won't, so I just got a 2" piece of bar stock, mounted it to the Mondial roof rack (half of a set of two) drilled the proper holes and mounted 6 lights to it. Time consuming, but mostly busy work. No brain surgery.
