first off, welcome to the site. best place to start are e-fans, pulleys, headers, get rid of those flows, gears, and if you want to drop some big $$$ get a supercharger

by gears i meant re-gearing to a different ratio. like 4.10's. you will get some amazing pick up from those. e-fans will free up a couple ponies and combined with the pulleys they should do quite well. most ppl with that combo see an increase in mpg's too. as far as pulleys go, check out http://www.troyerperformance.com

take it to a gear shop and have them do it. if you dont know how, its not something your should try by yourself. for parts and install it should run you about $500-700

Get the gears From ford racing I think they are $180 plus shipping, a gasket and some royal purple gear oil and go at it. I did mine. i hate other people working on my truck. It only took about 2 hours
